About
CTO. Systems Engineer. Builder.
I lead engineering at Strike. We are building the financial infrastructure for a global, Bitcoin-native economy.
My view is simple: Bitcoin is global money and AI is the great global enabler. I work at the intersection, building the systems that let intelligence interact with value at scale.
How I build
Simplicity is Strategy
Engineering is the art of managing complexity. Architecture is part of it, but culture matters just as much. I focus on building robust, global-scale systems that stay up when things get messy.
Velocity via Leverage
You don't need a massive engineering org to move fast. You need a small, high-trust team of snipers focused on high-leverage systems. I scale impact through automation and engineering efficiency, not raw headcount.
Pragmatic Integrity
I build for the long term but I ship for today. On the foundations - security, payment rails, data models - integrity is non-negotiable. Everywhere else, pragmatism is the filter. It's about knowing when a system needs to be industrial-grade and when "just enough" is exactly what we need to ship.
What I'm working on
I spend most of my time thinking about high-availability infrastructure and how we can build systems that have a true, lasting impact.
Recently, I've been focused on Agentic Infrastructure - building the engineering rails that give AI agents the leverage they need to be useful in the real world. For me, AI isn't just about chat; it's a tool for high-velocity engineering and massive systemic leverage.
Background
Before Strike, I co-founded SystemSeed and Fullcube (acquired by ReKTGlobal, now Infinite Reality), leading engineering for diverse and regulated industries. My journey started in the early 2000s, building security software for Virus Bulletin and Sophos.
Beyond the screen
Engineering is what I do, but it isn't everything. I've been playing guitar for 30 years and I'm always looking for a mountain to snowboard.
